Church Partnership Coordinator - Support Hub
Overview
The role is based out of Atlanta, GA or Remote. The purpose of the Church Partnership Coordinator is to provide opportunity, guidance, and structure for churches to engage with unreached people groups. They will make new church connections through staff, program participants, and other mobilization opportunities while cultivating and developing current church relationships on behalf of GFM. This includes sharing GFM program opportunities and aiding churches in meeting their missions goals. This ministry position is full-time and support-raising is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Church Connection & Recruitment: Work alongside the Mobilization team to connect quickly to church inquiries and recruit churches to send participants for GFM’s various programs.
- Missions Advocacy: Effectively relate the importance of missions to church contacts and identify where churches are on the missions-spectrum to help them move forward with practical next steps.
- Leadership Engagement: Engage pastors and church staff in missionary sending and care while staying informed of needs and opportunities within GFM.
- Administrative Tracking: Track and report scheduling, budgets, short-term events, follow-up, and other trends and metrics to the Director of Mobilization.
Required Qualifications
- Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith.
- Must have a sense of calling from God towards this position and a willingness to persevere through hard times.
- Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture.
- Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others.
- Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking.
- Must function well both independently and in a team environment.
- Must attend GFM’s intensive 5-month Missionary Training School (in person or online) or equivalent training.
- Must be licensed or ordained as a minister.
- Must be able to use or learn internal communications and technology systems such as Email, Google Drive, Slack, and Salesforce.
Recommended Experience
- A College Degree is preferred but not required; informal training in management, organization, leadership, and or ministry is also acceptable.
- Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc..
